FREIGHT COVER POLICY

zEUS 4X4 PTY LTD FREIGHT PRODUCT COVER

1. Introduction

At Zeus4x4 Accessories Pty Ltd ("Zeus4x4," "we," "our," or "us"), we strive to ensure that all products are delivered safely and securely. However, shipping involves certain risks, and we understand that our customers may want added protection in case of loss, theft, or damage during transit. For this reason, we offer Freight Cover (or shipping insurance) to cover your order during transit. By selecting Freight Cover at checkout, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this policy.

2. Freight Cover Eligibility

  • Freight Cover is available to customers who select and pay for it at the time of purchase. Freight Cover will not be automatically applied to your order, and it must be selected explicitly during checkout.
  • Freight Cover is only available for orders being shipped within Australia and to selected international destinations. Please check if your destination country is eligible before proceeding.

3. Coverage and Protection

  • Covered Risks: Freight Cover provides protection against loss, damage, or theft that occurs during transit. This includes damage to the product caused by mishandling, extreme weather conditions, or other shipping-related issues.

4. How to File a Freight Cover Claim

  • Claim Process: If your order arrives damaged, or if it does not arrive at all, you must notify Zeus4x4 within 7 days of receiving the package (or within 7 days of the expected delivery date if the package has not arrived). Claims made after this period may not be eligible for compensation.
  • Documentation Required: To initiate a claim, you must provide the following documentation:
  • Claim Review: Once a claim is submitted, Zeus4x4 will review the documentation and determine if the Freight Cover applies to your case. If the claim is approved, we will arrange a replacement, refund, or repair of the affected product at our discretion.

5. Claims Process for Loss or Theft

  • Lost Shipments: If your shipment is deemed lost and no tracking updates are available, Zeus4x4 will work with the shipping carrier to locate the package. If the package cannot be found, we may issue a replacement or refund for the lost items covered under Freight Cover.
  • Stolen Shipments: If your package is stolen after delivery, Freight Cover will not apply. The customer is responsible for ensuring the security of their delivery address. If you are concerned about theft, we recommend choosing a secure delivery option or shipping to a location where you or someone you trust can receive the package in person.

6. Freight Cover Limitations

  • Maximum Coverage: The maximum coverage provided under Freight Cover is limited to the total value of the items purchased in the order. Freight Cover does not cover additional costs such as shipping fees, taxes, or duties.
  • No Guarantee of Delivery: Freight Cover is not a guarantee that a package will arrive on time or in perfect condition. It provides coverage in the event of damage, loss, or theft during transit. Zeus4x4 is not liable for any other aspects of the shipping process, including delays or issues outside our control.

7. Cost of Freight Cover

  • Freight Cover is an optional service and comes at an additional cost, which will be displayed during checkout. The cost of Freight Cover depends on the total value of the order and the shipping destination. The customer must select and pay for this service at the time of purchase.

8. Customer Responsibility

  • Accurate Information: It is the customer’s responsibility to provide accurate and complete shipping information, including the correct delivery address. Any errors in shipping information provided by the customer may result in a delay or failure to deliver, which will not be covered by Freight Cover.
  • Shipping Risks: While Freight Cover provides protection against loss or damage during transit, it is still important to understand that shipping carries inherent risks. Zeus4x4 cannot be held liable for any circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to third-party courier errors, delays due to customs, or force majeure events.

9. Non-Refundable Shipping Costs

  • Please note that the cost of Freight Cover is non-refundable, even if a claim is not approved or the product is returned.

10. Changes to Freight Cover Policy

  • Zeus4x4 reserves the right to modify, update, or discontinue Freight Cover at any time without notice. Any changes to the policy will be posted on our website and will apply to future orders.

11. Limitation of Liability

  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zeus4x4’s liability under Freight Cover is limited to the cost of the product(s) that are lost, damaged, or stolen during transit. Zeus4x4 is not liable for any consequential, incidental, or special damages arising from shipping delays, theft, loss, or damage.
